This DVD seeks to promote the value of speaking and listening for pupil learning and achievement in English. Pupils' confidence and proficiency as talkers and listeners is paramount in all areas of our society. It is also essential for their learning in reading and writing in the wider school curriculum.
The DVD identifies the key issues of speaking and listening and addresses those issues, supported by video examples of classroom practice and other resources.
