Understanding shape
Blue emphasised text signifies end-of-year (EOY) objectives within Mathematics and Early Learning Goals (ELG) within Foundation Stage. In Years 1 to 6, Literacy does not have end-of-year (EOY) objectives.
- Use familiar objects and common shapes to create and recreate patterns and build models
- Use language such as 'circle' or 'bigger' to describe the shape and size of solids and flat shapes
- Use everyday words to describe position
