E-learning course on aspects of teaching speaking and listening with three modules: on Shakespeare; interviewing a visitor; and poetry through podcasting.
- Module 1, Teaching Shakespeare, focuses on enhancing pupils' engagement with and understanding of Shakespeare using Much Ado About Nothing and Macbeth.
- Module 2, Teaching speaking and listening with a visiting speaker, shows how to prepare pupils to interview a visiting writer, including video of planning, interview and summary lessons.
- Module 3, Teaching with new technologies, demonstrates how to prepare pupils to compare two poems, including preparing for, recording and then reviewing their own podcasts. The course has its own forum.
