Calculation

These CPD materials are aimed at schools who wish to address the teaching and learning of calculation. The materials were first written at the time of the launch of the Renewed Framework and will still be relevant for many schools.

The materials explore pace and progression in calculation in PDM 2, moving on to look at strengthening pedagogy in PDM 3. PDM 1 was designed to support schools in their initial familiarisation with the Renewed Framework and is still available via the Subject Leader DVD.

The CPD materials are organised into two sections:

• CPD outline - which contains the outline for two school-based Professional Development Meetings linked to the CPD
• Handouts and resources - which contains any related materials or linked handouts from the PDM outline needed to run the PDM including the presentation.
