Improving writing, with a particular focus on supporting boys’ writing development

This document addresses the issue of raising the attainment of boys, individuals and groups of children in writing to reduce the gap between attainment in reading and writing, and provides references to accessible, ‘tried and tested’ and relevant guidance to support teachers in improving the teaching of writing in their context.
