Mathematics spreadsheets: Counting stick with further options
This file enables the teacher to use the imagery of a counting stick to count in
steps of different sizes. The user clicks on their chosen context on the menu on
the first screen and can return to this menu at any time. The
spreadsheet enables you to reveal the different steps as you count, or to reveal
steps in a random order to encourage reasoning. On most sheets, two different
sequences can be compared – one above and one below the stick.
