Literacy across the curriculum

Overview

Document emphasising that making links between curriculum subjects and areas of learning can deepen pupil’s understanding by providing opportunities to support learning. When pupils understand what they learn, it can enrich the curriculum and support achievement and enjoyment. Additionally, work across the curriculum provides a rich source of experience, language and stimulation to support the development of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
