EYFS principle 4.2 card: Learning and development – Active learning
The colour version of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) card
giving first-level information on the theme, learning and development,
its principle and commitments. Basic information is provided on the
importance of children’s learning which involves mental and physical
challenges. Active learning involves other people, objects, ideas and
events that engage and involve children for sustained periods. This
card is also available in black and white.
