Overview
Guidance on access and engagement in physical education for pupils learning English as an additional language (EAL). The guidance is in two parts: Sections 1 to 4 are intended for subject leaders of physical education (PE) and ethnic minority achievement (EMA) in secondary schools. Designed to support a departmental meeting focused on reviewing the attainment of pupils learning EAL. Sections 5 to 8 are for all PE teachers and their EMA colleagues. They aim to help teachers support pupils learning EAL in the classroom. This document is a Key Stage 3 teaching resource.
