Date of issue: Feb. 2007
Theme: Improving the use of ICT in Foundation Stage
Audience: Headteachers and deputies, Foundation Stage practitioners
Bath and Somerset’s ICT project aim was to celebrate child initiated learning and to explore ways to explore outcomes for children through documentation. The project involved children in their own learning by encouraging them to use digital cameras, videos and display screens. The case study outlines the story so far and includes a PowerPoint from a maintained nursery which illustrates how they develop a specific creative theme with young children.
