This pack develops the use of ICT by children, for example carrying out investigations, using digital video cameras to practise and develop their use of mathematical language, creating their own multimodal texts and presenting their ideas.

The DVD supports teachers’ professional development and children’s learning by linking teachers’ and children’s use of ICT.

The materials reinforce the use of ICT within the renewed Primary Framework and cover seven key areas of literacy and mathematics: Early reading; Calculation; Reading on screen; Problem solving; Shape and space; Writing Key Stage 1; Writing Key Stage 2.

The resources on the DVD include film clips of classroom practice, practical resources and skills tutorials, and can be searched by year group, topic and type of resource.
