Download publicationThis pack of mathematic lessons provides guidance and resources, including slides and handouts, for preparing Year 7 pupils for progression tests. There are also 12 consolidation lessons with objectives, vocabulary, resources required, and lists of questions.
The plans for the lessons are organised in units corresponding to the intervention plan. Each lesson supports about 40 minutes of direct teaching, and refers to a selection of pupil activities including some drawn from Springboard 7 to complete the remaining time and to provide homework. The lessons make use of ICT where appropriate.
