Views from the balcony: Ways of playing Romeo and Juliet - Shakespeare study for Key Stages 3 and 4
A set of resources developed from footage of a rehearsal of Act 2 Scene 2 of Romeo and Juliet directed by Neil Bartlett for the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) which can be used at either Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4. The resources consist of ten units, with a range of lesson plans, worksheets and linked video clips, providing opportunities for a variety of approaches to the play, through drama activities, close reading tasks, written responses, and speaking and listening contexts.
